Pet food is the most concentrated category here: 72 articles, two product types and four brands covering most of it. Cat accounts for 50 references and dog 22, the reverse of the usual grocery split, and it reflects where wet multipacks give a wholesaler the most usable depth. Whiskas is the anchor at 29 articles, Pedigree follows at 17, Dreamies at 8 and Animonda at 6. Between them they cover wet pouch and tray multipacks, dry bags, dentastix and treats, which is enough to range a credible cat and dog fixture from this catalogue alone without a second pet supplier for the core lines. Handling is the thing to plan for. 50 articles are pre-packed and 21 are bagged, and recorded pallet quantities span 28 to 3,762 pieces, so a pallet of large dry bags and a pallet of 85g pouch multipacks have almost nothing in common as load positions; mixing them on one pallet wastes height.
