The merci range is boxed chocolate, 23 of its 24 articles in chocolate with one seasonal line, and the formats belong to a gifting fixture rather than an impulse one: 100g and 112g four-piece boxes, 250g and 400g selections including Finest Selection and Crispy Selection, and named lines such as Coffee & Cream and Dark Chocolate 72%. Grocery, discount, travel retail and pharmacy or drug buyers all place boxed chocolate, and it is one of the few confectionery ranges where a heavier retail price point is normal. Recorded pallet quantities span 120 to 3,600 pieces, an unusually wide spread given the difference between a 400g box and a four-piece unit, so the format decides the pallet rather than the brand. Boxed chocolate is sold here in full pallets and full truck loads out of Belgium, with mixed loads available to reach the order minimum and export documentation prepared in house.
